I found your blog via Craig Adcock on Facebook this morning. Just met him “face to face” 2 weeks ago. Love McClure’s quote about angry cooks! This blog looks good. Glad I found it. Have a great thanksgiving!
Hi Anne,
Thanks so much for the great article on 1/11 about wild edibles. Just wanted to let you know I am growing and selling wild fruit, greens, roots, and blossoms to area chefs. My wild persimmons ripen in September. I have a photo of them posted on my farm facebook page: Prairie Birthday Farm LLC. I have also begun growing fruit in bottles for customizable liqueur. I look forward to learning more about how ingredients from my Farm can support the bartenders and mixologists in KC.
Wow – thanks for sharing all you do! I can’t wait to find out more about what you do, especially the fruit in bottles and the persimmons. They’re so delicious, yet nobody knows about them.

Thanks! He’s a great guy. Hope all’s well on your end – happy turkey day!
